The Overseas Koreans Foundation is appointing outstanding overseas Korean entrepreneurs as "Overseas Korean Business Advisory Committee Members" to establish a "Global Business Hub connecting Overseas Koreans and the Republic of Korea" by field, region, and generation. We look forward to the participation of capable overseas Korean entrepreneurs who can strengthen the competitiveness of overseas Korean communities and support the overseas expansion of Korean companies.
1 Recruitment and Composition
□ Activity Period: 2 years from appointment
□ Scale: Approximately 250 overseas Korean entrepreneurs worldwide
□ Recruitment Target
ㅇ Overseas Korean entrepreneurs with high understanding of overseas markets and business and good reputation
ㅇ Those fluent in Korean and skilled in information systems (capable of document writing through internet and computer use, level of online activity capability)
ㅇ Practitioners in all fields related to overseas expansion and product export of domestic companies

□ Activity Content and Role
ㅇ (List Sharing) Public disclosure of list after consent for personal information use in Korean Business Network, National Talent DB, etc.
ㅇ (Business) Participation as buyer and meeting partner in World Korean Business Conference, various exhibitions hosted by our agency's partner organizations, etc.
ㅇ (Consulting) Review of business proposals, participation as judge in startup competition
ㅇ (Mentoring) Local mentoring activities for beginner companies expanding overseas or youth
ㅇ (Content) YouTube content, seminar lectures, publications, media interviews, contributions
ㅇ (Research) Participation in research related to overseas Koreans, various research responses, etc.
□ Benefits and Support for Selected Members
ㅇ Provision of appointment letter, commendation for outstanding committee members, networking opportunities among advisory committee members
ㅇ Provision of benefits for participation in World Korean Business Conference
- Exemption of participation fee for World Korean Business Conference
- Consideration of additional support for accommodation and airfare (based on economy class) when actively participating in business meetings as a buyer
ㅇ Support for honorarium and invitation expenses according to role-based activities
ㅇ Provision of other personal and corporate promotion opportunities, etc.
□ Sanctions
ㅇ Automatic termination in case of poor or no activity performance during the advisory committee tenure (2 years)
ㅇ Immediate disqualification in case of crime, social controversy, loss of dignity, violation of good faith, etc.
