I purchased the Brynevi Air to use on my submission bike.
I went to the shop and compared it to the 540 I have.
Garmin brightness: 50%
Brynevi Air: 100%
Even with the Air brightness at 100%, it looked darker than the Garmin.
My guess as to why it looks darker is that
screen reflection is more severe on the Brynevi Air.
The background color of the screen seems to be closer to white on the Garmin, making the text appear brighter.
I've already bought it, but looking at the screen, I'm having some second thoughts. I wonder if it would be easier to see with goggles...
The touch sensitivity of the screen was very good, like a smartphone. Ah....
