Elon Musk's artificial intelligence (AI) company xAI has changed its name to 'SpaceXAI'.
According to Business Insider on the 6th (local time), SpaceX completed the rebranding of xAI and released a new logo and X (formerly Twitter) account name.
The name xAI has effectively disappeared with this change. SpaceX acquired xAI in February of this year and integrated its space, AI, and social media businesses under one organization. This also included xAI's flagship chatbot, Grok.
The transition to SpaceXAI is also in line with what Elon Musk had predicted last May. At the time, he stated that he would not keep xAI as a separate company but would integrate it into SpaceX.
