A 170km course with 5,400m cumulative elevation. Isn't this a killer course? ㅎㅎ From the spectators' perspective it's entertaining, but from the athletes' perspective
it must be absolutely maddening. The European weather these days is extremely hot, and with that distance and climbing! (When I watched yesterday's race, they were mobilizing all available water and ice to cool down... If the rankings weren't settled until the day before and it was a chaotic situation, it would be pure hell~~~) On such a hot day, with climbing across a longer distance than Mungyeong, it's like combining the climbing from Seorak Gran and Hongcheon Gran together... and it's not even a tour but an actual race... cyclists should be paid a lot more. ㅋ Among professional athletes, cycling really seems to be the 3D sport
