Just some casual talk.
I've been using tubeless,
and I recently picked up a used wheel that has a puncture and they said it's using sealant,
so I'm wondering whether to keep using it by buying sealant and filling it...
or to wipe it clean and use the squirt sealant I was using. I'm torn between the two,
First, a roller wheel (Maxxis tire)
I tried taking it apart as practice
and there was a lot of moisture(?) inside. I couldn't even tell which sealant it was...
Anyway, I wiped it clean thoroughly and reassembled...
But the bead won't seat. ㅠㅠ
I even went to the compressor station near my house, but it still won't seat ㅠㅠ.....
Sigh...
I was thinking of going to the shop, but since my hands were already dirty, I just thoughtlessly tried my main wheel (figured we'd end up at the shop anyway...)
But wait, this one seats well with just a floor pump??? (Pirelli P Zero)
I was relieved... but then I was watching BikeRoid on YouTube and saw that when the bead won't seat, you seal the bead area between the rim and tire with tape, so I tried again right away...
When I tried it, the roller wheel that wasn't working immediately seated.
But the other one still won't work. Even after slathering tape all over it and trying at the compressor station...
Anyway, I got frustrated pumping and ended up buying a compressor...
Huh???
