To welcome the New Year 2025, Jakarta, Indonesia will reduce fares on public transportation including Transjakarta, MRT, and LRT to 1 rupiah. This special fare will be applied from December 31, 2024 to January 1, 2025, and operating hours will be extended as well. Users of Mikrotrans and TransjakartaCare will be charged the regular fare. This measure is being implemented as part of Jakarta's 500th anniversary celebration. From January 2, 2025, normal operating hours and fares will resume.
