Before, people thought the high price was a barrier to entry. They also talked about things like cliques among enthusiasts.
These days, prices have come down so much, especially for used bikes. It feels like they're heading straight for rock bottom, but they still aren't selling.
I haven't heard any talk about enthusiast cliques in a long time either.
Running and baseball have been incredibly popular, but I don't think cycling and golf have ever seen this kind of boom.
