[Exclusive] Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Rendering and Specs
Official renderings and confirmed specs have revealed the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra in cobalt violet and black. The device features a flat 6.9-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, a rear triple camera system with a protruding island design, and an integrated S Pen. This flagship model will run on Android 16 and One UI 8.5, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite 5 Gen 5 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, and a powerful quad-camera setup led by a 200MP main sensor, with a February release expected.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is set to launch next month, and we have exclusive new information to share. This time, we're revealing the official renderings and specs of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Two Color Options for the Galaxy S26 Ultra Confirmed
In the gallery below, you can find multiple renderings of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The confirmed colors are cobalt violet and black.
While we've already shown CAD-based renderings, the design itself shouldn't be a surprise. However, these images provide a more detailed look at the final product and showcase the device from various angles. The S Pen stylus is also clearly visible in the center of the device.
As you can see, the Galaxy S26 Ultra features a flat display with a punch-hole cutout at the top center for the front camera. The bezels around the display are very thin and uniform. The power/lock button and volume controls are located on the right side of the device, and these are the only physical buttons.
Rear Triple Camera and 'Wobble' Concerns
On the back of the device, you'll find a vertically aligned triple camera system in the top left corner. These cameras are positioned on a camera island, with an LED flash next to it. The camera island itself protrudes from the body, and the camera lenses add further thickness.
Therefore, placing the phone flat on a surface will likely result in some degree of wobble. Of course, using a case can mitigate this inconvenience. The device's corners are rounded, and the frame has an overall flat design.
Currently, images have only been secured for these two colors, but more color options are expected at launch. Previous leaks suggest that black, white, silver shadow, sky blue, cobalt violet, and pink gold will be available.
Confirmed Specs for the Galaxy S26 Ultra
Along with the images, we've also obtained some confirmed specs for the device. While not a complete spec sheet, the following information is accurate. The device will come pre-installed with Android 16 and One UI 8.5.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. A 256GB storage option will be available. The device measures 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9mm and weighs 214g.
A 5,000mAh battery is housed inside, and the S Pen comes included in the package. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite 5 Gen 5 chipset will power the device, and wireless battery sharing is supported.
Finally, here's the camera information. The main camera boasts a 200MP sensor. This is complemented by a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto unit, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. A 12MP front-facing camera is also included. However, further details about the cameras are yet to be confirmed.
