I'm a low-power rookie who's personally bought and ridden every generation of AviAvi Adeon, from gen 1 through gen 2 and gen 3 (Neo).
I've tried Campy Bora 45/60, Cadex 60, ENVE 4.5, and more before,
but with my pathetic power and skill they all felt way over-spec for me, so I figured AviAvi Adeon was the perfect fit,
and whenever people ask for an entry-level wheel recommendation I always suggest Adeon,
but I don't think I've ever seen anyone besides me post about recommending AviAvi Adeon.
So I've been wondering, it's genuinely a great wheel, so why does nobody know about it..
Especially the 3rd-gen AviAvi Adeon (Neo)—it was so unpopular it basically flopped without anyone even noticing
But now that the 4th gen is out, it seems to be getting a huge (?) amount of attention and popularity haha
I've followed it since gen 1, and even when it first launched it wasn't getting this much attention
I tried to buy the 4th gen but pre-orders were completely full, so I couldn't even purchase it—apparently I won't get it until end of June haha
Even though I wanted to buy one, purchases have been pushed way back because it's so popular..
but I'm happy it's finally getting a lot of attention and popularity, even if it's late. (Certified Adeon evangelist)
Starting from gen 3, the crazy loud ratchet noise that gen 1 and 2 used to make
has been significantly reduced since they changed the ratchet.
If anyone was hesitant in the past because of Adeon's loud ratchet sound, you don't need to worry about that anymore haha
