Ambassador Yoon Soon-gu held a special interview with Jakarta Globe, a media group under B Universe, on July 30 (Mon) from 9:00 to 9:30 am on the theme of "Korea-Indonesia: Powering a Resillient, Innovative and Future-Ready Partnership."
In the interview, Ambassador Yoon Soon-gu emphasized that Indonesia is a strategic cooperation partner for Korea's regional stability and economic resilience in the current complex and multi-layered geopolitical situation. He also stressed that the two countries have great potential for expanding cooperation in key minerals, energy security, and advanced industries.
Furthermore, Ambassador Yoon Soon-gu explained the potential for cooperation between the two countries in areas such as trade and investment promotion through the Korea-Indonesia CEPA, improvement of the investment environment including non-tariff barriers, and energy transition and green fields such as renewable energy and carbon neutrality.
Ambassador Yoon Soon-gu proposed that Korea and Indonesia work together to revitalize tourism, expand people-to-people exchanges, and cooperate in the cultural industry.
