This is an accident I witnessed on my way down Bukak-san this morning
Judging by where the car stopped, it's clear the car crossed the center line, but as cyclists we should
always ride downhill assuming a car could cross the center line at any moment
Since cars naturally have to cross the center line to pass riders coming up the other way,
is it really necessary to hug the center line just to go a bit faster?
If you get hurt, you're the only one who loses out
And after seeing the driver, more worried about photographing the damage to their car than about the person involved, hopping around in a panic
(with a look on their face like "ugh, of all the bad luck") whatever humanity I had left just disappeared
Everyone please ride sa~fely~
