But. After finishing the ride
Uploading records is too difficult.
Turning it off and on, barely uploading,
Bluetooth also gets tangled...
Garmin 1040 and Garmin Connect don't seem to work well together.

After trying all sorts of things to find a way,
I found a solution thanks to AI.
That is, turning on background refresh.
iPhones are a bit conservative when it comes to security,
so if you turn off this function for apps like the photo app or Garmin Connect,
upload was limited.
I turned it off because YouTube and the internet said to do so for efficient iPhone use...^^
But as they say,
turning on the refresh makes it upload really well.
The best way is to turn on the Garmin Connect app and ride with Bluetooth connected,
and if you're worried about battery, turn on the Garmin Connect app right before ending your ride, connect via Bluetooth,
then close Garmin after saving, and it will upload immediately.
And, if you didn't ride with the Garmin Connect app in this way,
turn on the Garmin Connect app, then reboot Garmin after turning off Garmin,
and the data will upload immediately as Bluetooth connection is established.
I was quite stressed because I couldn't connect after finishing my ride,
but the solution was very close.
As most of you know,
if you are using an iPhone and having stress uploading Garmin data like me,
Settings > General > Background App Refresh
Go in and check if the Garmin Connect app is turned on.
For those who use Naver Cloud or Google Photos for photos,
it's good to keep background app refresh on.
I only kept Mybox, Google Photos, and Garmin Connect turned on.
