- dangerous, so crashes happen a lot
no matter what, if you hit a hard drive out of every corner
you just have to go all-out at 2300 watts and push forward,
and you're calling it a brag that you'd have podiumed if you'd gone BA but rode zone 2 instead!
This is like in an endurance car race where a higher-category car slows down to avoid the risk of crashing into lower-category cars that are crashing,
and ends up finishing later than a lower-category car,
and you can just call that a lack of skill.
Actually, bike racing is really similar to endurance car racing.

- Driver skill also varies wildly from person to person, car to car
- It's the same in that you have to reach the finish line before the engine blows
So basically, the hardware-level output of the car the driver is driving is high,
but the driver's software-level skill controlling that car couldn't back it up, so they came in later than a lower-output-class car,
that's about how you should understand it.
