Yesterday, I was heading to Paldang and going over the Sochanwhi Pass when a rider fell due to their wheel getting caught in a road drain trap at the summit.
Fortunately, it wasn't a high-speed section and they were able to rest for a bit before continuing, so there weren't any serious injuries.
However, the rider scraped their knee and it was bleeding, and their wheel was damaged...
Looking at the part where the wheel got stuck, the drain trap was flipped over.
I tried to put it back in place correctly, but it was connected to other traps with wire, so I couldn't flip it over properly. Whether it was a mistake or intentional, I don't know, but I would like to caution those who are crossing Sochanwhi Pass.
I'm planning to file a complaint with the Namyangju City.
