Inje Riding Center Review

I rode the Seorak Gran Fondo alone yesterday
I'm grateful to be alive and able to write this post haha

A brief review of Seorak Gran

Yesterday I was on an MTB with a blue helmet, and I want to thank the 4-person pack riders coming down from Guryongnyeong for cheering me on. I acknowledged with a bow but couldn't shout out thank you ㅜㅜ Thanks to you I was able to push forward and climb

I thought about doing Guryongnyeong in reverse and realized I should set up my water bottles well, and I was right
You might wonder what I'm talking about - I filled regular water bottles with ice and water
And filled Elite Nano water bottles with ice and water, and stuck frozen water bottles at the back of my neck. At first the ice in the regular water bottle melted quickly so I finished that, and then the water at the back of my neck that wasn't in the Elite bottle melted faster
Knowing this in advance, I brought a box cutter to cut plastic bottles into small pieces so I could refill my regular water bottle with ice and water.. and took a break ㅋㅋ
Finally when I switched to my Elite water bottle, there was still 4 kilometers left - wow!! After calculating and eating small amounts every 500 meters and moistening my cracked lips, I made it to the summit. There was still some water left and since it's a downhill, I went right down resting and thinking about what to eat at the convenience store at the end - it was a happy downhill

Inje Riding Center

I was trying to book a room a week in advance when I suddenly became curious about what Inje Riding Center does. I checked their homepage and saw they also take lodging reservations
I wasn't sure if weekend reservations would be available a week in advance, but fortunately there were rooms available (I've been to the Seorak competition 3 times but never went there until now)

Twin room has 2 beds / Weekday 60,000 won, weekend 80,000 won, peak season 100,000 won
Quad room has 2 bunk beds / Twin room price + 20,000 won

1st floor has a cafe/convenience store, gym, shower facility, communal water purifier
2nd floor has laundry room, lodging, communal microwave

This review is based on using a twin room

The interior has a sink on one side so the room is a bit cramped
You can put bicycles on the balcony or park about 2 bikes in the entrance (staff recommend using the balcony for storage and compensation is required for damage or staining)

The room next to me was empty so I couldn't test noise levels
While staying there, I could clearly hear the thumping sound when the cleaning staff vacuumed
I think if someone speaks loudly, the neighboring room would hear it
But when sleeping, you sleep without knowing anything ㅎㅎ
That's because it's not easy to get to Inje Riding Center
Once you fall asleep from exhaustion, you get sound sleep!!
I drove 4 hours to get there so I was already exhausted=.=)

There was ondol heating and a ceiling system air conditioner
I took off all my clothes thinking I'd be cold in the early morning, so I turned off the air conditioner and set the heating to 28 degrees and slept under the blanket
The floor heating was set to 26 degrees originally, so don't misunderstand ㅎㅎ but when I was barefoot the floor didn't feel particularly warm..??

In the bathroom there was shampoo, body wash, disposable shower towels, soap, and a bidet!

It seems 2nd floor is where the lodging is, and there are about 16 rooms
I didn't ask how many twin and quad rooms there are each ㅜㅜ

The shower facility operates until 8am so you'd need to enter by 7am to finish and leave
And for using the shower facility, they only accept card payment
Usage fee is 3,000 won and they provide towels
Inside there are individual lockers, hair dryers, fans, shampoo, body wash
4-5 shower stalls (1 for disabled users)

When I searched on Dositsa, there were only a few related posts and it seemed like there was only one review, so I added mine
