Ambassador Yoon Soon-gu attended a large-scale commemorative event held on June 27 (Tuesday) at Bundaran HI in Jakarta, upon the invitation of Promono Anung, Governor of Jakarta.
During the event, Ambassador Yoon had a conversation with Governor Anung and exchanged opinions on inviting major country professional soccer teams, including Korea, to a commemorative match for Jakarta's 500th anniversary next year. Jakarta plans to hold a series of commemorative events throughout the year leading up to the 500th anniversary on June 22nd.
