Before leaving for Guksong, I preached to my 16-year-old son that it would be a long, tiring, and boring journey,
but in conclusion, my 16-year-old son completed all the uphill sections without stopping and left me in the dust....
My son's bike weighs 11 kilos with 4 kilos of luggage...

I started cycling around fall of 2021, rode with some confidence, and was proud of my cycling, but it turned out I was the one full of bluster.... I reflect on this.
Before going, I caught a cold, received an IV at the hospital, and brought medicine, but my nose was blocked so I had to breathe through my mouth
Why was the weather so hot again... Wow
The wind was a real headwind... I was worried about getting blown away at my old age...
After blocking the wind for about 600 kilometers,
got hit and tried to take a break....
Is it hard???

From Ihwaryeong on, my son started leaving me behind...
He climbed Maehyeopjae while dancing on the pedals... Wow...
I unclipped at the second section of Maehyeopjae ㅎ
Even at Daramjae, he left me behind...
I was intimidated when I saw him climbing Munsimsa while dancing on the pedals....
At Youngjji too, he left me behind and disappeared.... Wow...
After that mad uphill party,
my legs were killing me from the pain,
he stuck to me from behind like a mosquito,
when I blocked the strong headwind from Miryang with my whole body,
he said let's go faster... Wow...
On the way to Yangsan Water Park....
If I hadn't brought a front light, it would have been a big problem...
If you want to cool off from the summer heat and experience a summer special,
go after sunset... Herds of musk deer jump out,
there are no street lights... Haha, I was scared too ㅠ
When my son was young, I used to tease him that ghosts would come out if he went to dark places,
thinking back on those times,
I felt good the whole time while riding.
After blocking the strong headwind,
when I arrived at Eulsukdo,
I had always thought of him as just a child,
but the realization that he had grown so much like this
made my eyes get teary.
Riding across the vast wilderness with my son,
these few days of laughing and chatting were so meaningful
for this bike tour.
Most of all...
the fact that I could at least block the wind for him as a father
made me happiest and most fulfilled... even if it was just that...
