I saw the article well about Korea National Sport University students riding in parallel on the Han River bike path on May 26th.It is rightly something to be pointed out, and it was wrong.
Unless it is a section where parallel riding is explicitly allowed by signs or road markings on bicycle-only roads or bicycle priority roads, it is clearly wrong, and I apologize as a parent.
Realistically, student athletes or professional team athletes in Seoul or the southern Gyeonggi region, such as Korea National Sport University, have no choice but to pass through the Han River bike path for road training.
Korea National Sport University students sometimes use vehicles to move to the velodrome located in Uijeongbu, and sometimes they use the Han River bike path and public roads.
After seeing the article about parallel riding, today Korea National Sport University department heads reminded student representatives of each grade to ride safely.
There are no excuses for unavoidable circumstances.
We will continue to educate them so that they do not pose a threat to safety or cause danger during riding due to parallel riding and other inappropriate riding methods.
Please stop excessive swearing and aggressive remarks. I ask for a lot of advice and encouragement for the Korea National Sport University cycling students who are trying to change and make efforts, even a little.
Thank you.
