Just some random ramblings.
I've been riding a Look, but it's always been one size too big for me, so I've always had complaints about it.
So I looked into Tarmac and all that,
and eventually came to the conclusion that, thanks to my short arms, the endurance genre would be more comfortable for me.
(I tortured Gemini, Claude... the AIs quite a lot;;; -_ㅡ)
After looking at various options, I thought the Canyon Endurace looked nice, so I even went for a test ride.
But... I don't think this is really an endurance bike... there's quite a significant drop too ㅠㅠ
So I'm back to deliberating again...
It came down to the BMC Roadmachine vs. Defy vs. Roubaix...
and I got to the point where I just couldn't stand the Roubaix's looks (+the shock components, which are a maintenance pain point, even if they say it's comfortable),
so it became a Roadmachine vs. Defy showdown...
Honestly, the Defy's decals and overall look aren't great (to my eyes)... so I was going to go with BMC, but..
BMC, just like Look, is full of proprietary... parts...
Haaa...... *&^ strong words...
So in the end, I'm going to go with the Defy.
Once I get it all built up and do a long ride, I'll write another post.
But what's a good integrated handlebar that goes well with the Defy;;;
