Last Taiwan tour riding review...,.

I took vacation on Election Day sandwich day and went on a final Taiwan tour ride with close juniors...

Now intense riding is getting harder...
The last place I chose was the Taroko course...

Starting from Taroko Station, reaching the summit of Wuling and riding back down, a round-trip 180km course...

Typhoon Rose was approaching, but fortunately we avoided it well and the weather was nice...

Flying to Taipei, warming up near Danshui River, and the next day taking the high-speed rail to Hualien for the Taroko course ride, and the next day taking high-speed rail back to Taipei—a 4 nights 5 days itinerary...

As expected, it was indeed a tough course...

The road entrance closure was lifted at 7 AM so we departed, but we had to arrive at the entrance control section by 6 PM...

After 6 PM, they lock up the barricades and leave work... we barely made it...ㅠㅠ

The supply station in the middle is at the trail course rest area 5km before the summit...

There are no supply stations before that...

Occasionally you see small shops, but there's no guarantee they're open and we couldn't use them either...

Individually we brought power gels, chocolate, candy, two water bottles, and two 500ml water bottles...

Later we even ran out of water...ㅠㅠ

Still, I highly recommend it... you should definitely go once...
The highest in Asia, good road conditions, great accessibility, excellent value for money...

However, you need to prepare a lot...
It's absolutely not easy... especially Taroko...

Coming down from the summit, just the downhill takes about two and a half hours...ㅠㅠ

The juniors who went with me were also sub-9 hour Seorak riders, but they struggled a lot...

As for me, there's no need to say—I was sweating profusely...

Still, since it was the last Taiwan ride, it was fun...^^
