Hello, I've only posted questions on the forum so far, so nothing special, but I'm posting a simple review here.
Today I rode about 70km and since I got rid of my previous EVR water bottle,
I cheaply purchased a Sync Rider from AliExpress and tried it out.
The attachment method is so-so that I feel like it might fall off at some point.
Let me briefly compare the pros and cons with my existing water bottle.
Advantages
1. The price is very cheap - less than half the price of EVR, so I tried it as a challenge.
2. It's easy to drink from - you just drink it like regular water.
3. Since it comes with a cap, it's relatively less prone to contamination.
Disadvantages
1. A major downside - to drink, you need to pull out the pressed rubber with your mouth or hands,
and it's quite stiff. Even after drinking and pressing, the water doesn't flow out,
it's really stiff - if you press too hard, I feel like the rubber might tear.
So I'm just using it by covering it with the cap while riding.
Apart from that, there really aren't any other disadvantages or advantages. It's just okay to use.
If I buy it again next time, I should get the semi-transparent version. I got the black one,
and while it looks aesthetically fine, not knowing how much drink is left inside
was a disappointing choice.
