After getting Adeon4, the first ride was lighter than expected or
lacking a nimble feel
That said, pedaling didn't feel heavy
The problem is during the next day's 20km ride
I felt resistance as if the rotor and pads were sticking
Why is pedaling so heavy?
Thinking there's a problem, I couldn't ride anymore
After giving up riding, I requested after-sales service
The headquarters contacted me and the inspection result
was that it was normal
However, this product had
a large amount of grease injected into the hub bearing
Since this can reduce rolling resistance,
the bearing for after-sales service had grease
injected in an appropriate amount like the previous model,
and was replaced with this
I requested to check spoke tension,
and during tension adjustment, sealant was over-injected,
they confirmed this and since it could affect ride feel,
they said they removed an appropriate amount
After the subsequent inspection, they said rolling resistance improved somewhat
After hearing this, I received the product by delivery
Actually, I had no expectations, but the light pedaling
felt good and...
On the way to the Han River on a public road, getting momentum from the downhill,
I used to burn my thighs going over hills
Starting from flat ground and going up
Wow, no burning, just going over it??
Also, while going slowly because of cars, doing intervals while overtaking,
I went smoothly and quickly
Yeah, this is it!
After entering the Han River, the section where I previously checked if the rotor was sticking went smoothly like a feather, thumbs up
Since the wheel is light, when starting or accelerating,
especially when doing intervals on slight climbs,
going up smoothly, I feel excited
Today I completed a 190km ride over Dongbu 5 passes,
coming down a bit from Yumyeongsan, there's a camelback,
previously, I couldn't get over this in one momentum, so I had to go out of the saddle
struggling and panting
Today I got over it smoothly in one momentum,
even enjoyed the downhill that I usually don't enjoy at high speed
properly
On long distance rides, even slight climbs cause
my legs to be heavily taxed,
at the 170km point after Banpo Bridge,
2 hills due to fixie riders,
I had to do strong intervals to get over them, but with less accumulated damage
I easily got through without much strain
It's become a completely different bike, ending up this well...
The reason I bought Adeon4 was to climb hills easily and quickly
but
Yesterday when climbing Namsabuk, different from short climbs,
on sustained climbs,
pedaling is light but there's rolling resistance
That makes sense since it's Schwalbe One 28c, but when measured
it comes out to about 32c
It's not like I got filler injected, it's really puffed up
I can't tell if this is a road tire or gravel tire
So I properly tested the Dongbu 5 passes climbs today,
I didn't feel the effect of the lightweight wheel
Is it the rider's limit or
I need to test again with a higher quality tire
to find out
When I asked the manufacturer if I could use 25c,
they said 28c is optimal but 25c is also fine,
so when it's time to change tires,
I should test with Ochenseong 25c for climbs
What performance will it show...
If it works out, it'll be the best
