According to TrendForce News, Intel's (INTC) expansion of its memory business is receiving renewed attention following an announcement of joint development of Z-Angle Memory with SaiMemory (SAIMEMORY), a subsidiary under SoftBank (SFTBY).[SEP]EE Times Japan cited a SoftBank spokesperson as saying that SoftBank plans to invest approximately 3 billion yen with the goal of completing a prototype by fiscal year 2027.[SEP]Publicly listed companies in the memory sector include Micron (MU), Western Digital (WDC), Seagate (STX), and SanDisk (SNDK).
