It rained until dawn, but it stopped before departure time. The ground was wet.
According to the weather forecast, the high temperature was 24 degrees.
It was cool when we departed, but it was quite hot around 2-4 PM in the afternoon. So I rode while spraying water from one of the two water bottles over my head.
Then in the middle, I was riding with the water running out.
There was a street vendor selling shaved ice along the road, so I bought a cup and drank it in one shot. Drinking it straight without stopping was really refreshing and great ㅎㅎ
In Seorak, even if the weather service forecasts 24 degrees, when you actually ride, it gets extremely hot after going over one mountain, then cool again after going over another.
(Presumed to be due to the Föhn effect)
This year, the high temperature is expected to be 27 degrees and the weather is clear.
It's probably going to feel quite hot ㅜㅜ
But at least it's not a fiery hell, so that's fortunate.
