President Lee Jae-myung announced, "Following the relocation of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the establishment of the Maritime Court, we will also establish the Southeast Region Investment Corporation, and will soon relocate HMM (Hyundai Merchant Marine) to Busan as well."
The president shared a post by Democratic Party lawmaker Jeon Jae-soo, whose candidacy for Busan mayor has been mentioned, on social media X (formerly Twitter) on the 19th, writing "Great transformation of Korea, regional balanced development! If we decide to do it, we do it! Korea will do it."
