U.S. President Donald Trump publicly demanded that streaming company Netflix fire Susan Rice, a former National Security Advisor and board member, warning that "if you don't fire her, you'll pay the price."
According to Bloomberg, President Trump posted on social media on the 21st (local time), targeting former advisor Rice, saying "Fire her immediately, or face the consequences." This statement is interpreted as a response to Rice recently saying in a podcast that if the Democratic Party were in power, it would hold accountable companies that gave in to Trump.
Rice served as National Security Advisor and UN Ambassador in the Obama administration and later held high positions in the Biden administration. In 2023, she rejoined Netflix's board of directors.
