Hello
For the past two years, I wanted to shoot riding videos, so I purchased a brand new Insta360 X3, which was a popular 360-degree camera at the time. I enjoyed using it for riding and travel videos. Then I purchased another X5, but while using it, the first X3 I bought stopped turning on. I sent it to the Hong Kong headquarters, and the paid repair has been completed and should arrive in 2-3 days.
I'm writing this hoping it will be helpful in case any of you experience the same issue, as the process has been very quick.
June 9th: Received confirmation text for repair request completion at the Insta app customer center. Packed the item well and mailed it to the Hong Kong address provided in the guidance text.
June 10th 10:00: Shipped via Korean Post courier
June 12th 12:00: Arrived in Hong Kong
June 13th 04:00: Received repair estimate email after inspection (repair cost: 250,000 won)
June 13th 10:00: Confirmed estimate and received 40,000 won discount, completed MasterCard payment of 210,000 won
June 13th 15:00: Repair completed
June 13th 16:40: FedEx shipment in progress
Should arrive home on Monday-Tuesday.
The repair speed in Hong Kong is similar to when I had to send my Varia 715 mount that broke last year to the Garmin customer center on Gangnam Teheran-ro and purchase a refurbished unit.
