Got an Adeon4 but had hub bearing issues due to cloud quality problems
Had them replaced and while the ride feel is pleasing, it's slightly disappointing
Solved the uphill issue with Ocheonsung tires
The Ocheonsung 25c+TPU combination on the Adeon
produces amazing pedaling but
since it's about 10mm narrower than 28c, installation is
difficult and the TPU pinches causing all sorts of issues
but despite the lightweight tube, with the satisfying pedaling
a 247k roundtrip to Chuncheon, the next day Jeongseo-jin recovery 84k
yesterday Namsabuk 85k
it's fun so I wanted to keep riding
Today I was planning to do a 200k loop of Bukbu 5 passes
packed pineapple, orange, banana bread and such
and headed out when I detected something wrong with the pedaling
when I left it should go smooth and light on slight uphills
but instead of that fun pedaling, something was off
when I first got service, only 4 out of 6 bearings were replaced
so I thought maybe the 2 remaining bearings were the problem
when I rolled the wheel, it wobbled
when I lifted it and turned the pedal, the frame shook while rotating
I immediately identified it
the reason I found it easily this time was that before getting the Adeon4
I had recently bought a basic wheel with Fuoco Pro
when the wheel wobbled, I got rim alignment
and the feel was completely different
having experienced that service before, I quickly checked and found the issue
the problem is when I put the Adeon wheel on, it makes noise
when I sent it for service last time, I asked them to check the tension just in case
but if they did it properly and yet
after just a few days and a few hundred km of riding it wobbles like this
this seems like a bigger problem
if the tension loosens this easily, making the tire like gum stuck on
and the pedaling becomes a mess, I can't keep sending it in for service
and if I try to do it myself, even if I can adjust left and right
adjusting up and down isn't easy
plus with blade spokes
I understand you need spoke holders too
it's complicated maintenance, so I'm stressed again
I have time so I guess I'll get the service done somehow
but I just don't have the energy
I wonder if the tension loosens this easily on every product
this is why I only buy products with good after-sales service
a few years ago I bought an 880,000 won carbon wheel and immediately the chain ate into it
causing a tremendous noise
I found the dealership's main branch
they tried to solve the problem but couldn't find it
I floundered in noise hell for over 2 months
while searching for the cause and disassembling, I found a defective hub
I found it, went to the head office and showed them
as a result(?), I got exchanged for a 1.5 million won carbon wheel
and used it well for nearly 3 years
anyway, starting Monday I'll contact service again to solve this problem
need to resolve it quickly
but it seems Adeon4 users all received good products, there are no complaints... just me..ㅋ
