Used it for over 2 years and just found out about this..
While riding on the weekend, the connection wasn't working, so I connected it through the phone app. After resetting, it kept recording, so I was trying to adjust the recording settings..
And the connection was working well, so I was riding.. (I didn't turn off the app separately.)
Then I heard notification sounds coming from the Bluetooth earphones(?)
I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but it seemed to play the sounds in a spatial way, distinguishing between left and right.
The beeping sound from Garmin is loud, but when it comes through the earphones, even with heavy wind noise,
I could hear it clearly... I was wondering if connecting the app would drain the phone battery more, but
it seems fine, so next time I go out to the field, I should test it again.
If anyone knows about this, I would appreciate any feedback.
