On the 3rd (local time), Iran International, an Iran-focused media outlet, reported citing sources that "Iran's expert assembly elected Mojtaba as the next supreme leader under pressure from Iran's Revolutionary Guards."
As of this morning, there has been no official announcement from Iranian authorities.
