Minimum Actions to Avoid Being Scammed 1. Verify the identity of the other party through multiple channels before conducting any transactions. 2. Never share personal information such as passwords, PIN numbers, or banking details via email, text message, or phone calls. 3. Check the official website or contact information directly from the company's official channels rather than using links provided by others. 4. Be skeptical of unsolicited contact offering unrealistic returns or easy money. 5. Use secure payment methods that offer buyer protection when making purchases online. 6. Research unfamiliar companies or individuals before doing business with them. 7. Keep records of all transactions and communications for reference. 8. Install and maintain updated antivirus and security software on your devices. 9. Use strong, unique passwords for each account and enable two-factor authentication when available. 10. Report suspicious activity to relevant authorities or your financial institution immediately.

This is the method I always use.

*23#1655 Collect Call (Recipient Pays)

When you dial the number above, the automated voice speaks.

Enter the other party's phone number, then press the pound sign (#).

I tried dialing the number from the post titled "Is this a scam?" on the first page.

01080710992

The automated voice says, "Hmm? This phone number cannot be connected," and hangs up.
( It's a prepaid phone. )

Prepaid phones are 100% scams.

These days, prepaid phones even show up as regular phones on The Cheat (더치트).

If you have even the slightest suspicion!

Please call *23#1655 and verify the number.
