So.. I have an old personal iOS app that's been sitting for 7 years.
Well, "sitting" might not be the right word..
For about 3 years I tinkered with it while developing in Objective-C,
then tinkered some more watching Swift come out, converted it to RxSwift,
registered as a business and added in-app purchases, which led to a job change,
then moved to a company developing with SwiftUI,
but the UI was made with xibs and I kept putting off when to fix that, so I wasted about 2 years.
Even after AI came out, I tried multiple times but failed.
The first time succeeded, but the second time it didn't work again.. ugh, what a headache..
And most discussions were more about creating something new with AI rather than modifying existing projects.
I installed speckit, and following SDD's order of constitution > spec > plan > task > execution,
I gradually added prompts while conversing with AI at each command step
and successfully converted all just over 10 xibs to SwiftUI..!!

Of course it's not perfect, and I still need to manually fix things like spacing and the places where system images were used instead of assets,
but I'm just happy to have finished the pure manual work I'd been putting off for years.
