I previously had a 2060 and installed Stable Diffusion last year, ran it fine for a while, but lost interest about 6 months ago.
This time around, I purchased a 5070ti and decided to give Stable Diffusion another try.
When I tried running it the same way as before, I got errors and it wouldn't launch. After looking into the errors, I found out it was a CUDA version issue.
When I tried to do a fresh install, the old version wouldn't uninstall properly. So I'm wondering where to get the latest version of Stable Diffusion
and how to install it. Most of the YouTube videos and blog posts from a year ago are outdated,
so I'm asking because I want to know how to install the latest version. Someone I was grateful to once shared a summary of the basic Stable Diffusion installation steps with me,
which I referenced at the time, but that was also from a year ago, so I'd appreciate it if someone could point me to a well-organized resource
on how to install and use the latest version of Stable Diffusion. The generation speed on the 2060 was really unsatisfying,
and I'm also curious whether there's a noticeable speed improvement with this new card.
Or if there's something easier and more convenient to use, please let me know.
