One way at 24 kilometers
By my standards it's a reasonable distance, but
If I ride every day 5 days a week, I get pain in the upper inner right knee and left back of the neck,
so today I'm tempted to just take public transportation,
but since I ride every day, I end up finding ways to deal with it lol
- For the knee, I watched YouTube and bought an extender to match the pedal spacing with my hip width (since I walk duck-footed, I adjusted the cleats slightly duck-footed too, seems like that was the issue)
- Also for the knee, I tried switching to a pulling pedaling style in between, and it reduced the load on my knees so it hurts less,
(riding with a pulling style also improved my sustained power a bit lol)
- For the left back-of-neck pain, I did stretches mid-ride + whenever I noticed my neck was slightly tilted to the left while riding, I consciously tilted it to the opposite side to balance it out,
and the pain decreased lol
