British newspaper The Times reported on the 6th local time that Ayatollah Mozatabba Khamenei, the current supreme leader of Iran, suffered serious injuries and is in an unconscious state.
The Times obtained and reported on a diplomatic cable based on U.S.-Israeli intelligence that was shared with Gulf allied countries.
The media quoted the diplomatic cable saying "Mozatabba Khamenei is receiving treatment in a critical condition while unconscious at Qom, a religious holy site in Iran" and "he is in a state where he cannot be involved in any decision-making of the regime."
