I finally got the road bike I wanted so much...
But 2 weeks after the purchase, I discovered a hidden truth..ㅎㅎ
The road bike had no major defects on the frame, the wheels were clean, and it didn't seem to be ridden much with no apparent issues..
But when I peeled off the decal logo that was apparently added because the seller likes customization, wow!!!!
There was a scratch hidden behind the decal.
It doesn't appear to be a major scratch or impact damage on the frame.. and from its location, it would be where your shoe touches while pedaling
But hiding something like this is too much ㅠㅠ
Other than this spot, there are no other noticeable scratches and the frame paint is intact with only the logo paint chipped.. so I guess that's something to be grateful for? ㅎㅎ
It's been 2 weeks since the purchase.. and I replaced the bar tape, set it up, maintained it, and was so excited and happy about it...
But my heart has gone cold.
To anyone buying used bikes, if there are stickers on it, please!! check underneath or avoid it..
I hope you don't end up in the same situation as me.ㅠㅠ
I think I could just ride it as is without any issues.. but would it be better to make a custom decal to protect the frame??
