The movie seemed to be winding down, so I went to see it quickly.
As of today the 23rd... from tomorrow there are no scheduled screening dates, and it's only showing at Megabox Busan Hwamyeong and one local cinema. ㄷ

Masters of the Universe (2006)
It's He-Man, the Prince of the Universe, returning after about 40 years. It's the second live-action movie. The director is the one who directed Bumblebee, born in '73, and it seems like a movie targeting those who played with Mattel toys in their 45s-55s. The Mattel logo was so welcoming.
The spin-off She-Ra has been consistently done on Netflix, so recent viewers might have seen it somewhat, but He-Man being retro B-movie and even felt somewhat hastily made back then (...) anyway, the muscular decadent aesthetic actor Nicholas Galitzine plays the prince, and I think the character that shines the most in acting ability throughout the entire movie was Jared Leto's Skeletor. Well, the supporting actors felt somewhat wasted, which is a shame. Well, it wasn't bad as a popcorn movie.
The movie had decent music. Queen's Brian May actually did three or four songs for it. The recently released Mortal Kombat 2 was also a letdown, and I'm disappointed there was no special screening. Even a sound special screening! It's one of the summer blockbusters with a production budget of 200 million dollars.
