Before, only claude code max users could choose the opus model, and I was just twiddling my thumbs,
but at some point, opus 4.5 selection has become available.
From my experience, sonnet and usage limits don't seem to be that different. I haven't measured it accurately.
Whether this is a temporary release as a promotion or whether it will continue to be released in the future is unknown, but we should enjoy this time!
