I used confluence to organize the development process for personal records. However, if you don't use it for a few weeks, they delete your account entirely. Since I use it irregularly for personal purposes, it has been deleted twice already. They say that the paid version will keep it for $6, but I am looking for other alternatives first.
First, I tried notion, but since every line/item is treated as a block, it's a bit inconvenient. Like using MS Word, if you copy&paste document content and insert captures, it works, but it's still inconvenient. Even when I try to position a captured image slightly away from the left edge, it doesn't align properly. It's good that notion is quite generous with usage even for free users, but it doesn't fit my personal usage style, so I'm worried. It feels like it would be better suited for 'project management' rather than technical document management...
Are there any other free services you could recommend?
Online service, easy to indent, notes can be written in a folder structure.
If there are no alternatives, I guess I will have to go with the paid version of confluence. ㅠ
