I know it's not a popular opinion, but I prefer tubular tires the most.
Oh, of course, after switching to disc brakes, I'm forced to use clinchers though haha
Whenever people on the forum ask what they think of tubular wheelsets, everyone tells them to avoid tubular tires at all costs, but
I don't worry about thermal deformation, they're lightweight, and when people ask if they get flats easily, I've never gotten a flat in all this time.
In conclusion, everyone prefers different things based on their own experiences, and there's no single right answer.
When acquaintances say they're buying used wheels, I actively recommend getting ones with tubular wheelsets because they're cheap and most are probably in great condition.
