Mayor Oh arrived at the low-lying area of Nangok-ro in Gwanak-gu, received a report from the Water Circulation Safety Bureau Director on the status of Seoul's flood and water damage safety measures this year, and inspected the implementation results for each major facility and overall safety measures. He first confirmed the installation and management status of the "flood barrier," a representative flood prevention facility installed in nearby semi-basement residences. A flood barrier is a facility that delays rainwater from flowing into homes during heavy rainfall, allowing semi-basement residents time to evacuate.
