When a politician lies, you must not believe anything they say afterward. They must pay a price for at least some time, apologize, and show genuine reflection. If you simply accept the lie, they will continue to lie in the future. The harm and cost to society are unbearable. If you create a system where lying is acceptable whenever necessary, everything falls apart.
Even if a lie is made with good intentions, it must be fully explained and one must bear the cost. When telling a well-intentioned lie, one must be prepared to pay the price. Only then can we prevent other politicians who package their intentions as good-hearted from dirtying the field. Even if lying is treated as a form of strategy, there must be a price to pay.
Kim Min-seok's faction, Gang Deuk-gu, Lee Eon-joo, and all their spokespeople package lies as strategy and call it political sense, but they all must pay the price. That's not an ability—it's sociopathic behavior.
