While using my DS920+, one day it suddenly turned off and I couldn't connect to the server or DSM...
I thought maybe there was too much dust, so I cleaned it. Then I sat in front of the 920+ and connected the LAN cable and power adapter. It seemed like it was turning on by itself..? After a beep "beep" sound, it started rebooting endlessly.
So I searched frantically for what was wrong, and it turned out that the adapter had died...
Since the light came on in the existing adapter, I didn't think there was a problem. But after buying a new compatible adapter and installing it, everything worked fine.
If your device suddenly turns off by itself, please check the adapter.
Using a UPS would be best... but it's not really practical for home use ㅜㅠㅠ
I was very worried that all my backup data might have been lost, but luckily it was all safe. I guess I need to clean it more often from now on!
