The development server was too old, so I set up a new one (and they say I gathered the leftover desktops due to resignations).
I believed Gemini's words that a 3050 8g graphics card would be enough to run it, and impulsively bought it. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
But the result was a disaster... There are too many things to do in practice, and most importantly, the speed is terrible.
Even simple modifications take about a minute, so I often end up just modifying them myself. ㅎㅎㅎㅎ
I think it will be fine if I invest more time.
However, I don't have that time, and since the company allows us to spend about $100 on AI without any problems, I just upgraded Copilot to a higher plan (Pro Plus). ㅎㅎㅎ
I told our CEO "We failed!", but he didn't have high expectations anyway, so he just told me to make more money.
Since I need a development server anyway, I will continue to use this computer, but it's a shame.
As a developer myself, I realized again that those who develop services don't just play and eat while getting paid. I also understood that AI costs are not as high as I thought.
If I make money later, I want to buy a Mac mini 64GB and try it out.
Anyway, the week I spent preparing was fun but not very helpful. ㅎㅎㅎ
