June 9 (Tuesday), Ambassador Yoon Soon-gu and his wife hosted a cultural event at the ambassador's residence showcasing Korean traditional desserts and Indonesian coffee to members of the Indonesian Parliament, Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials, and spouses of ambassadors of major countries stationed in Indonesia.
This event was inspired by Indonesian fair-trade coffee being served at the bilateral summit held in April. During this occasion, guests enjoyed various types of Korean tteok paired with diverse Indonesian coffees in one venue, in an effort to continue strengthening close cooperation between the two countries.
Through this event, the Embassy reintroduced the charm of Korean culture to key figures in Indonesia, and plans to continue strengthening the relationship between the two countries through such cultural collaborations in the future.
On June 9, Ambassador Yoon Soon-gu and his wife held a cultural event at the Embassy residence that introduced traditional Korean desserts and Indonesian coffee to Indonesian parliament members, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and spouses of ambassadors of friendly countries stationed in Indonesia.
This event was inspired by the presentation of fair trade Indonesian coffee at the summit meeting of the two heads of state held in April. Through this activity, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea reintroduced the attractions of Korean culture to important figures in Indonesia. The Embassy plans to continue strengthening the relationship between the two countries through cultural collaborations like this in the future.
