Markdown Leader 1.5.0 has been released to the Chrome Web Store.
This time, we've improved the inconvenience of printing documents containing code on paper. While there is no problem reading with a dark code background on the screen, printing it as is results in the entire code area being printed black. We have reflected feedback that it would be nice to be able to choose a code background.
Bright code background when printing
The PDF preview starts with a bright code style every time it is opened. It displays grammatical emphasis colors on a white background, and you can change it to dark within the preview if needed. This selection is only applied to the current PDF save and print, and is not saved to your usual reading settings.
We have also added 'bright / dark' code styles to the reading settings. You can now choose the style of each code block separately, in addition to the existing bright theme, dark theme, and system settings for the entire screen.
Support for tables written in HTML
You can now display actual tables for HTML tables written within Markdown (.md) documents. We have expanded the support scope so that documents with HTML tables mixed in addition to Markdown table grammar can also be read.
General HTML tables and formatting are displayed within the allowed range, and dangerous tags and attributes are removed.
As before, you can check checkboxes and leave notes while reading a document, and then pass that file back to AI for continued review. For those unfamiliar with MD files, PDFs can be delivered, and bright code backgrounds can be used when printing on paper.
