Huawei has launched HarmonyOS 7, their latest operating system replacing HarmonyOS 6. This update is rolling out gradually to various Huawei phones starting September 7, 2026. Some flagship and mid-range series like the Mate 80, Pura 90, and Nova 16 are included in the initial wave of updates. The Huawei Mate 60 series and Mate X5 series will receive beta access to HarmonyOS 7 in October 2026. HarmonyOS 7 comes with a redesigned interface, glass-like transparent effects, and improvements in performance, security, and AI capabilities.
