Foreigners buy, Kospi rises near 6,900 for the first time in 8 trading days

Cosmetics ODM company NFC hit the daily limit on a report estimating third-quarter operating profit at 4.8 billion won, up 63% from a year ago, while InCell rose 26.48% after its Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease treatment manufacturing technology developed with a public foundation was registered as a U.S. patent. Famicell rose 14.5% on expectations of benefits from Doosan's copper-clad laminate expansion.

Samsung E&A won a 3.5 billion dollar fertilizer project in Saudi Arabia, and its stock price rose by 6.7%. L&F signed a mid-to-long-term supply contract worth 161.7 billion won with SK On for lithium iron phosphate cathode materials. Reuters reported that China's Changxin Memory is setting up a NAND flash research and development line at its new Beijing plant, preparing to enter the NAND market. There were also reports that SK Specialty and Hosing notified Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix that they would raise the price of tungsten hexafluoride by 70% to 90% in 2026.
