Markdown Leader 1.3.0 update has passed Chrome Web Store review and is now public.
Since AI has been increasingly used to create Markdown documents, the time spent reading and verifying the results often exceeded the writing stage. Therefore, this update focused on refining the reading experience rather than adding new features.
Especially for tables, even if the original text appeared to be fine, rendering them narrowly in the reader could disrupt the flow of reading. Tables with multiple lines now utilize screen space more effectively in the viewer, A4 preview, and PDF. Conversely, short one-line tables maintain their width according to content as before.
We've also added Markdown syntax guidance. When reading AI-generated documents and encountering strikethroughs, line breaks, subscripts, superscripts, or other formatting, you can now refer to the Markdown Leader's interpretation of the syntax alongside the actual result.
The workflow of leaving checkboxes or notes for verification while reading a document and then relaying that content back to AI for further review remains unchanged. Documents are opened locally without being uploaded to external AI services.
In this version, the table layout seen on the screen is also consistently reflected in the A4 preview and PDF. This aims to make the document less awkward for those who are not familiar with Markdown when reviewing content.
