Yogyakarta Palace (Keraton Yogyakarta)
Yogyakarta palace is located in the center of Yogyakarta city. Once, the area of this palace was a swamp area
called Umbul Pacetokan. Prince Mangkubumi transformed this swamp area to a resting house called Ayodya.
As the kingdom was separated into two administrations in 1755, Ayodya Resting House was reconstructed to
become Yogyakarta Kingdom Palace.
